The art of flowers. I like to see everything and view everything in "art" way. The definition of art, to me is changable, violatile, and lifely.
The post for today is not about the philopsophy of art or life :). But I just want to share my learning, experiences, and the fun of taking up a flower arrangement course.
6 months, I have attended the course for 6 months and still on going, guess what we are going to next level from beginner to intermediate, yippee! I learned a lot skills from the name of the flowers, the skills of cutting or triming sponge/flowers/leaves etc, And of course I paid a lot for attending and learning for it but worth for the money because I am not only learning about the flowers but I make a lot of friends from different field sales, beauty, education line, house wife etc, and they are totally different from me as engineer. We came from different field or industrial line but we have a common interest flower, flower, flower and flower :D... and also food. We chatted, laughed, guided each other in the class, awesome people!
About the flower arrangement, the difficult is how to make the artificiate flowers looks like real and real flower look like artifate which mean lifely for the artificiate flowers, and is all the matter of how to arrange them so they look so fresh and oustanding with their colour.
The difficulties and keen learning are not very similar, but in general you have to have some ideal of outcome and not to go too fast or too rough, go slow.
About artificial flowers and plants, the way of holding this kind of flowers and leaves, with totally no issue you definitely can prepare upfront before "plant" into the sponge. Even though sometimes accidentally cut the trunk too short, we still manage to safe it back by connect it back. If you plant them wrongly you can just remove them from the sponge easily without worrying of damaging the plant or flowers.The most difficult part is how to make them look real. From my observation and experiences, if just poke it directly to the sponge and leave it definitely no no. What needs to do is after plant it into the sponge, you have to twist the flower little by little to make them looks natural.
For the fresh flowers and plants, should not trim all the flowers and plants all in one short. In fact, some you might need to put inside pot with water and only take out from water when you need to use. Because of leaving the flowers and plant for too long without water, you definitely will see dead flowers very soon.
